I am a fifth-year Finance Ph.D. student at the University of Florida. I am on the academic job market in 2022/2023. I am interested in corporate finance and entrepreneurial finance.

Under the supervision of Professors Jay R. Ritter (chair), Michael Ewens, and David T. Robinson, my job market paper, "Create Your Own Valuation," shows that startups systematically inflate their valuations to impress employees who interpret valuations as a signal of future compensation.

I appeared in the Wall Street Journal (November 2022, October 2022, May 2022, May 2021) and Bloomberg (November 2022, June 2021) for my research on SPACs (accepted at the Review of Financial Studies), which was also quoted by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (March 2022, April 2021).

I was the TA for the NBER Entrepreneurship Research Boot Camp. I co-organize the student-led Workshop on Entrepreneurial Finance and Innovation. I earned a Certificate of Outstanding Achievement from the University of Florida.
